Jammu, Mar 17: During two day General Council session of Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Province was held today in which all the Presidents of Departmental Unions, General Council members, besides members of provisional body of employees' joint action committee were present. The meeting was chaired by its State President Ab. Qayoom Wani where the leaders discussed organisational matters, pending demands sof employees and nefarious designs of State government to weeken the employees movement in J&K state. After conclusion of general council session, the resolutions,inter-alia,unanimously passed were to dissolve the Provincial Body of Jammu province and elected new Body of EJAC of Jammu Province, regularization of all incharge officers in all departments, especially in Education Department i.e. Head Masters, Lecturers, ZEOs/ZPOs, Principals and Joint Directors,revival of all public sector units and provision of SRO 43 and pensionary benefits to all public sector employees,removal of all pay anomalies especially in clerical cadres and pre-revised scale of Rs. 6500-500-10500, implementation of court order regarding transfer policy for regularized RETs, enhancement of Medical allowance from Rs. 300 to Rs. 3000, release of 6% DA , sprovision of 20% interim relief in the ensuing budget before implementation of 7th Pay Commission. |
