RDD employees observe pen down strike, demand arrest of Sarpanch 3/17/2016 11:09:44 PM MS NAZKI Early Times Report Poonch, Mar 17: Distrcit employees of Rural Development Department observed pen down strike today to register their protest against Sarpanch who made uproar in BDO's office and alleged his employee's involvement in corrupt practice the other day today demanded to register an FIR against the Sarpanch and ensure his arrest. Sarpanch of Panchayat lower Dhargloon Shabir Ahmed Khan, a retired lecturer created a scene along with his men in the office of BDO Balakote Khawaja Ab Rashid the other day when he refused to pay him any more money for an under construction Panchayat Ghar for which excess amount has been released already according to sources in BDO's office. They said already employees of RDD in Poonch district today observed pen down strike and demanded arrested of the Sarpanch for his unparliamentarily act. They urged the local police at register FIR against the Sarpanch and take stern action against him. When contacted Station House Officer (SHO) Gursai Mohd Amin said that a written complaint has been received from Block Development Officer (BDO) Balakote and on its basis a FIR vide No 16 under sections 353, 342, 327 RPC has been registered against the Sarpanch and his supporters.
