Kishtwar, June 26: All J&K Scheduled Caste Welfare Association (AJKSCWA) Distrtict Unit Kishtwar held a meeting and discussed so many burring issues. A vital meeting of Kishtwar Scheduled caste community was called in Dak Bunglow Kishtwar under the Chairmanship of Capt. Dewan Chand . It was proposed to form a District Body under the banner of J&K Scheduled Caste Welfare Association (Registered) and a body of 17 members and office bears was constituted as under Jagdish Raj as President, Ram Krishan as Sr. Vice President, Capt Dewan Chand as Sr Vice President, Lekh Raj as Vice President, Hans Raj as Vice President, Jagdish Raj as Vice President, Vinay Kumar as Vice President, Ajeet Bhagat as Gen Secretary, Lakhmi Chand as Secretary, Kuideep Kumar Rio Bera Bhata Cashier, Des Raj Rio Sangrambhata as Organiser, Jewan Lal as Organiser, Tek Chand as Organiser, Satish Kumar as Organiser, Anil Kumar as Publicity secretary, Bal Krishan as Executive Member and Des Raj as Begana Executive Member.
It was decided that this body will work for the welfare of the community in all sphere of life and will organize the meeting on Block, Tehsil and village level to unity the community and highlights the demand and burning issues which are being faced by this downtrodden community and how to redress their grievances. |
