RAMBAN, June 26: The body of an unidentified man was today found lying under suspicious circumstances near Kunfer bridge in Chanderkote area of the district. It bore injury marks and there were also blood stains on the road from where he had either fallen or thrown by someone into the nearly 200 ft deep gorge, police sources said. The dead was identified as Manoj Kumar, son of Manohar Lal of Ganga Nagar, Rajasthan. After getting information, cops of police station, Chanderkote, under the supervision of additional SP, Ramban, Mushtaq Choudhary, visited there and inspected the spot. The body was taken to the mortuary of district hospital, Ramban, for post-mortem. Police had registered a case in this connection and initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 of CrPC.
