14th Chitto Mata Jyot Yatra to start from July 1

Jammu, June 29: The annual 14th Chitto Mata (also known as Singhasan Mata) Jyot Yatra is going to commence from July 1 from Rani Talab Digiana towards the holy abode of Goddess nestled in Gulabgarh of Kishtwar district.
The decision in this regard was taken by the management committee during its meeting held under the chairmanship Pritpal Singh 'lovely' president of the Singhasan Mata Sewak Sanstha -Chitto Paddar on the other day.
Pritpal Singh 'lovely' president of the organization told that the management has made due arrangements for the convenience of the pilgrims. Singh said the holy pilgrimage would start from Jammu on July 1 and will leave for shrine of Chitto Mata in wee hours from Jammu Rani Talab Digiana (Chito Bhawan ) at 0600 hrs."Amid traditional religious rituals Shagun Sharma (a Sewak ) will take out Akhand Jyot from Jammu towards holy shrine in Padder, he added.
"Adequate tented accommodation at Chitto Dham and other arrangements have been made for the devotees by the Singhasan Mata Sewak Sanstha, he said while adding, " that the district administration has made all necessary arrangements for smooth conduct of the annual pilgrimage."
Pritpal Singh lovely president of the sanstha said that the devotees who want to participate in holy yatra will have to deposit Rs 900 for yatra for all boarding and lodging facilities made available to pilgrims by the organization
The holy shrine of Chitto Mata shrine popularly known as Singhasan Mata is about 310 Kms from Jammu City, he said.
