Early Times Report

Mandi, July 30: About two years have lapsed but the irrigation and flood control department is not able to provide facilities to the common masses. Sources informed Early Times that during September flood 2014 Sathra bridge was washed away and river had changed its way to other side of the bridge. They further alleged that the slogans of neat and clean system of government is total beguiled with the people, as if there is good governance, then how officers did their job with neglect they questioned. A local Mohammad Shafi said the department had invested lacks of rupees for the restoration of said river in documents, but he alleges that most of the funds have been embezzled by the involvement of some tactful politicians and goon types officials.
Many other villages like Dhara, Fatehpur, Baila, Kehnu, Danna Dhakran, Trichal, Marnote and Moharban demanded for the investigation through agencies.
If the action against this matter is not to be taken they will come on roads for their right, they warned.
