| BJP MLA lodges complaint against functioning of party MoS | | Tall claims of good governance punctured | | Early Times Report
Jammu, July 30: A senior BJP leader and Member of Legislative Assembly has complained against the Minister of State of his own party raising a question mark on style of functioning of the latter because of alleged pick and choose being adopted by the officers of the Department under this MoS.
According to the reliable sources, the said MLA has complained to the Deputy Chief Minister and also the Cabinet Minister from PDP, under whom the erring junior minister is a MoS. The MLA is learnt to have also conveyed the party high command about his anguish against the MoS, who was allegedly ignoring the party functionaries.
This is for the second time that a BJP legislator has complained against this MoS and sought intervention of the party high command. While elaborating, sources explained that the MLA was approached by a number of people from his constituency and known circles, who registered their complaint against the alleged malfunctioning by officers in the Department of said MoS, who was already apprised of the same. Sensing consent of the MoS in alleged wrongs by the officers, the MLA approached the Deputy CM, who has been authorized to take decisions related to Government affairs, on behalf of BJP, sources added.
On the intervention of Dy CM, sources said that the Director of said department was summoned and asked to immediately rectify the things. However, even after passage of more than a week, no action was initiated by the officer thus forcing the MLA to approach the senior minister from PDP of the said department and lodge a strong protest against functioning of own party MoS.
Earlier also, another MLA of the BJP had lodged complaint against this MoS to the party high command seeking action. Thus the repeated complaints of party legislators against the own ministers have punctured tall claims of the BJP of good governance. |
