| Seminar on 'What is Good Police….' held in Katra | | | Early Times Report
katra, July 30: Continuing its initiative of orientation of its cadre, the Govt Railway Police (GRP) Katra today organized a seminar on the topic "What is good police & what is required to make Police good" at GRP lines Katra.
The seminar was held under the supervision of SSP Railways Katra Ashok Sharma and SDPO Railways Katra Kamlesh Shore wherein all the SHOs / Ic PPs and various other officers/officials of GRP Katra participated.
Speaking on the occasion, the resource persons put forward their views regarding, what is required to make police 'good'.
In his address SSP (Railways) Katra Ashok Sharma highlighted various key aspects of good policing and impressed upon the officers/officials to put them in practice to make police people -friendly.
He described various activities by which police personnel can do good policing which would go a long way in winning the faith of people and in enhancing the creditability of police amongst the general public .
During the seminar, SSP also exhorted all Police personnel to work sincerely and honestly to promote the safety and security of the general public. An Interactive session/discussion was also held on the topic after the Seminar. |
