Excise Deptt. felicitates winners of painting competition 7/30/2016 11:37:28 PM KATHUA, July 30: Excise department organized a Prize distribution function for felicitating the winners of recently held painting competition here in Excise Range Kathua today. Nagendra Singh Jamwal, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Jammu, Rajesh Sharma, Deputy Excise Commissioner, Toll Post Lakhanpur, Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts) Jammu, Excise & Taxation Officer, Toll Post Lakhanpur, Sandeep Gupta Excise & Taxation Officer, Excise Range Kathua besides others were also present on the occasion. Prizes were distributed in two groups i.e. Group A from class 1st to 6th and Group B from class 7th to 12th. 1st prize amounting to Rs4000 was bagged by Kriti Rajput of Spring Dales English Medium Kathua from Group A and Rahul Dogra of Infant Joseph School Hiranagar from Group B, 2nd prize amounting to Rs. 3000 was bagged by Umang Sharma of Spring Dales English Medium Kathua from Group A and Manu Verma of Spring Dales English Medium Kathua from Group B, 3rd prize amounting to Rs. 2000 was bagged by Ishanvi Sharma of M.C.S. Pathankot from Group A and Himanshi of Spring Dales English Medium Kathua from Group B and consolation prizes amounting to Rs. 1000 were bagged by Abhay Kumar of Manu Shishka Kendra and Pragya Sharma of Adarsh Vidhya Niketan High School Mahnpur from group A and Amit Kumar Govt. High School Jakhbar and Komal Kumari D.A.V. Krishna Palyway School Nagri Parole from Group B. Winners were felicitated with Trophies and certificates also. Deputy Excise Commissioner (Executive) Jammu said that as a part of the Social Responsibility Corpus, Print and electronic media will be roped in to aware the public. He also said that purchase of ambulances and adoption of De-Addiction Centre would be an initiative on part of Excise Department. Excise and Taxation Officer Sandeep Gupta presented vote of thanks.
