Inter school zone level tournament concludes 8/12/2016 10:23:06 PM Early Times Report Hiranagar, Aug 12: Department of Youth Services and Sports organized inter school level tournament by clubbing zones Sallan, Marheen and Hiranagar which concluded at sports stadium Hiranagar with the final match of Cricket u/19 Boys. The tournament was organised under the overall supervision of Sunil Kumar DYSSO Kathua and ZPEO HIRANAGAR Sukesh Kumar was organising secretary. As many 380 boys and girls of more than 20 schools of said three zones participated in Kho-Kho, Kabaddi, volleyball and cricket. On concluding day, the semis and finals of Cricket for u/19 Boys were held and officiated by Rakesh Kumar Raju, Sanjay Sharma, Sandeepan Sharma, Rakesh Manhas, Ashok Kumar. Avnesh Kumar, Dharminder Singh, Kewal Krishan, Krishan Chand were also present on the occasion. In semis first, GHSS Kootah outplayed Infant Jesus HSS Hiranagar by 06 wickets. Divyam of Infant collect 20 runs and 3 wickets while Shiv Kumar of Kootah collect 25 runs and 2 wickets. In semifinal second, GHSS Hiranagar could not chase the target of 90 runs given by GHSS Sallan which ended with 70 runs.
