People boiling with rage against BJP-PDP mis-rule: HARSH | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 12: Ridiculing the tall slogans of 'good governance' 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas', and 'Achhe Din' given by the BJP during elections, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and Former Minister has described BJP-PDP rule in the state as a period of decadence, mis-governance, lawlessness non development, filth and squalor with people all across the state feeling cheated and betrayed. Addressing the huge gathering, Mr. Harsh Dev Singh expressed grave concern over the fast deteriorating law and order situation in the state and attributed the same to the soft approach of the PDP-BJP govt. towards anti national and other disruptive forces. He rebuked the govt. for its pro-secessionist agenda which was responsible for spurt in militancy and which had escalated not only in valley but also spread its tentacles in Jammu region. He said that govt.'s order to vacate lands from Army, to allow the Nepal route for return of militants under the Rehabilitation policy, allowing the separatists and Hurriyat Leaders to organize anti India seminar in Kashmir, release of stone pelters, non initiation of action against those waving Pak and ISIS flags in Kashmir, irresponsible statements in the aftermath of Burhan Wani killing besides open space granted to anti nationals had emboldened the anti national elements who had got a fresh lease of life and were desperate to vitiate peace and tranquility in both Jammu and Kashmir. Calling upon the govt. to keep a strict vigil upon the saboteurs and trouble shooters, he cautioned the govt. to take stern measures lest the situation should reach a point of no return. Flaying the govt. for its multiple failures, he said that the Jammu region in particular was passing through a worst ever phase of neglect, deprivation and under development. He said that only recently it was revealed that during the last 19 months, Kashmir region had been provided Rs. 600 crore for black-topping of roads with barely Rs. 100 crore falling in Jammu region's share. Likewise, he regretted that out of 12 indoor stadiums announced by the govt. the Jammu region got barely three stadiums. He said that similar was the situation in other Deptts. also where Jammu region had to content with peanuts with no voice having been raised by the mandated leaders against blatant discrimination perpetuated against dogra land by the incumbent govt. Expressing concern over the growing unemployment and under employment of the educated youth, he warned the govt. not to play with the sentiments of educated youth. He said that unemployed youth who had been cajoled and lured by the BJP in its fold during elections by giving seductive slogans were utterly disappointed and boiling with rage due to BJP's indifference and Jiggery pockery with regard to their concerns. Seeking the creation of Job avenues for the educated youth, he warned that unemployment was like a simmering volcano which should not be taken so non seriously by the helmsmen. |
