Gangrape committed on minor, one accused held 8/12/2016 11:13:27 PM Early Times Report mendhar, Aug 12: Police have claimed to have arrested one of the alleged rapist who had committed a gang rape upon a minor girl alongwith his accomplice in Ari village of Mendhar of Poonch district. Meanwhile massive manhunt has been launched to nab the absconding accused. Police sources said that a single parent woman (name withheld) whose husband lives in abroad, lodged a complaint with police alleging therein that two youths lured her minor daughter committed rape on her. The complainant has identified the accused namely as Majid Ahmed (24) S/o Faiz Mohd of Salwa an employee of PWD (R&B) and Javed Ahmed (18) son of Mohd Ashraf of Jughal, police sources said quoting the complainant. "Accordingly Police have lodged an FIR vade no. 131 under sections 363, 109 and 376 RPS at Police Station Mendhar, sources said. "Acting swiftly the police teams conducted raids at the houses of accused and arrested accused Majid Ahmed while manhunt has been launched to apprehend Javed Ahmed the second accused who is absconding his arrest," police sources added.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
