Horticulture employee assaulted, Minister's PSO among four booked 8/12/2016 11:14:07 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 12: An employee of Horticulture Department was allegedly assaulted by four persons including Personal Security Officer (PSO) of a Cabinet Minister at Nagri area over a petty issue when the former was going to attend his duties. Police said that injured identified as Karam Din, a horticulture employee, son of Kasham Din of Shahar Timber Padyari Kathua.Quoting the victim, police said, "He was assaulted when he was going to attend his duties." Police said, "Selection grade Constable Suleiman s/o Hashim Ali (PSO), Mohid Rafeek, Mohd Rafi, Shamash Din of Padyari Kathua intercepted Karam Din and after some heated arguments they pounced upon their prey." "However on hearing the alarm raised by the victim, locals rushed to spot forcing assailants to flee away from the spot," police said. Meanwhile Police have registered a case against all the four persons including PSO of GN Lone Hanjura, Agriculture Minister under sections 341 and 323, 325/34 of RPC at Police Post Nagri.
