Udhampur, Aug 23: Five persons were injured when a Tipper hit a Maruti Van at near Samroli National Highway Chenani in Udhampur District. Police have registered a case in this regard. According to the police sources a Tipper bearing registration number JK14D-9133, hit a Maruti Van bearing registration number JK06-3784, near Samroli National Highway Chenani resulting injuries to the five persons.
"Police and locals rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to District Hospital Udhampur for medical treatment, police sources said.
Police sources said,"The injured have identified as Saneev Kumar (48) s/o Prem Prakash of Udhrana, Imtiyag (23) s/o Firoz of Chanderkot, Akshay Patil (21) s/o Prithvi Raj Patil of Mukti District Dulia Maharashtra, A/P Kud, Bushan Singh (40) s/o Gian Chand of Gorikund and Romesh Kumar (35) s/o Kamla of Gorikund Chenani."
Meanwhile the concerned police have registered a case and started further investigations. |
