DDC convenes meet to revamp municipal areas 9/17/2016 10:22:07 PM Early Times Report RAMBAN, Sept 17: The existing bus stand of Ramban shall be extended, corporation has to provide spared land for constructing new bus stand at Batote, bus stand at Banihal shall be put to public utility and the Ramki-a construction company would intensify the maintained work of road and drains in Banihal town. These are the decisions taken in the meeting held today at Ramban at the behest of District Development Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Aijaz with the concerned to develop and revamp the areas falling under the jurisdiction of Municipal Committees (MCs) in clean and green way. The meeting was attended by ADDC Ravinder Sadhu, ACR Vevaik Puri, SDM Banihal, CPO Parshotam Kumar, Deputy Director Sericulture Ashraf Ali, Executive Officers Municipal Committees, Tehsildars and engineers. The meeting further decided to collect fee as already fixed by the Municipality Committees from the kiosks, vendors and other small business owners who are running their units in the Municipality limits on authorised permission so that the collected revenue is used for further welfare of the MC's works. Deputy Director Sericulture informed that land for expanding bus Adda Ramban has already been transferred.
