No possibility of Governor rule in JK: Deputy CM | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 17: The Deputy Chief Minister Prof Nirmal Singh Saturday claimed there was no possibility of imposition of Governors rule in the state as the PDP-BJP alliance government was intact and not facing any immediate threat. Dr Singh also expressed hope that the educational institutions in Kashmir would reopen soon. He also launched a scathing attack on the separatists warning them the state and the central government would soon crack its whip to check misuse of perks and privileges extended to these leaders. Interacting with the media persons on the side lines of a training workshop in Katra Prof Nirmal Singh claimed there was no need to impose Governors rule in the state as the alliance government is working as per the Agenda of Alliance and focused on carrying out developmental activities in the state. Prof Singh also expressed hope that the educational institutions would be thrown open soon after the situation would become conducive. Responding to a query on what action has been taken against the separatist who have been receiving huge financial assistance from different sources Prof Singh claimed the state/centre maintaining tight vigil on all their financial transactions would soon crack its whip. |
