High Time-Modi needs to show 56'inch chest says Sham Lal 9/23/2016 11:22:28 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 23: Senior Vice President JKPCC & Former Minister Congress Sham Lal Sharma along with Raman Bhalla Vice President JKPCC,Sdr Manjeet Singh Gen.Secretary JKPCC,Shashi Sharma Secretary JKPCC visited the house of martyrs of Uri encounter to express their deep condolences to the grieved families of Subedar Karnail Singh,R/O Bishnah and Havildar Ravi Paul,R/O Samba and said that the nation in general & Jammu on particular feels proud on the bravery of these bravehearts. Sham expressed concern regarding non payment of any type of ex-gratia to the families of these martyrs whereas other the martyrs of this incident have been suitably compensated by their respective states. Sham lal urged upon the BJP-PDP government which is expressing only lip sympathy to the martyr's family,to pay minimum of Rs 25-30 lakhs to the grieved families. Former Minister said that we should adopt a tough posture against the Pakistan by giving him befitting reply to take avenge of Uri incident. He also condemned the speech of PM of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif in UN summit in which he glorified the dreaded militant Burhan Wani who is responsible for killings of various incocent people in the valley. He said that prior to 2014 elections,Narender Modi consistently counselled Congress government to 'stop writing love letters to Pakistan'.He further said that Modi used to often quoted rheotoric of '56 inches chest' as also'bringing 10 heads back in exchange of one',besides asking the government to 'answer Pakistan in the language they understand'. Sham Sharma alleged that after becoming PM Narender Modi has indulged in 'Saree-Shawl'diplomacy to impromptu visits to Pakistan to attend wedding celebrations and birthday parties along with Nawaz Sharif.Modi government Pakistan policy is based on wholesale confusion rather the pragmatic and decisive cohesion. Condemning the increased terror attacks, Sham said that Narendra Modi led NDA Government had failed to ensure the safety of Indian soldiers and countrymen after coming to power.
