ITD makes arrangements to handle Income declaration scheme 9/23/2016 11:25:07 PM Early Times Report JAMMU, Sept 23: Income tax Department of Jammu and Kashmir has made elaborate arrangements to handle the heavy inflow of queries relating to Income declaration Scheme 2016 for which every assistance to the potential declarants is being provided by all the officers of the department at all the stations. Apart from this every officer of the department has been instructed to respond and satisfy the public on any help in the matter 24x7. According to press release, Sangeeta Gupta, Principal Commissioner of Income tax, Jammu who is the authority for accepting the declarations made under the scheme in the state has informed that to provide on spot clearance to the declarations made in manual form before her by the assessee coming daily in large numbers from all parts of the state, her office remains open upto late evening for the last many days. She has further stated that keeping in view the last few days of the scheme closing on September 30.
