Early Times Report Srinagar, Nov 20: Two examination centres for 10th class students have been shifted in south Kashmir district of Pulwama, where a militant was killed in an encounter with security forces yesterday. Deputy Commissioner, Pulwama, Muneer-ul-Islam said that two centres for 10th class students have been shifted from Kakpora to main town Pulwama. He said students have been asked to report to new examination centre set up in government women's college at Pulwama. However, he did not give any reason for shifting of examination centres. Apprehending trouble today following the death of the militant, authorities shifted examination centre for security reason. Meanwhile, restrictions on assembly of people have been imposed in Kakpora and adjoining areas besides Dangar Mohalla to prevent any demonstration and violence today. A local militant Rayees Dar alias Munaib a M Tech student, a resident of Dangar Mohalla Kakapora was killed in an encounter with security forces at Begumbagh area of Kakapora. |
