Grievances of the employees working in FCI highlighted | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 20: A meeting of Food Corporation of India Executive Staff Union, Regional Committee J&K, an Industrial Unit of Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh was held today which was chaired by B.D. Sharma, National President of the Union. Various grievances of the employees working in FCI J&K Region were discussed. The employees working under FCI J&K Region requested to the National President of the Union to take up the grievances of employees before the National Management of FCI. The main grievance of the employees remained with respect to the fact that the General Manager (Region) FCI - J&K Kishore Kumar is targeting the employees those who are associated with Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh as recently some employees having association with Bhartiya Mazdoor Sangh have been transferred from Jammu to Kashmir while ignoring the fact that under special recruitment drive in 1992, FCI had recruited some employees for J&K to specifically work in Kashmir, but, all those employees recruited in 1992 under special recruitment are working in Jammu. Further employees urged the National President to bring the factual position about special recruitment 1992 in the notice of Higher Management and also to manage to withdraw the arbitrary transfer orders of all five Managers from Jammu to Srinagar. Other important issues related to local transfer policy, as well as the problem being faced by employees at Railhead Bari Brahmna and Raihead Udhamppur where without any proper arrangement the staff is being forced to work were also discussed in the meeting. |
