Jammu Nov 20: A four day comprehensive and interactive session on GST hosted by the J&K Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) was concluded today
Speaker CA Vinamar Gupta provided overview of GST, time place and valuation of Supply, Registration, Returns, Payments and Refunds under GST. Further, input tax credit provisions along with provisions helping transition from pre-GST to post-GST regime were also deliberated over. Return formats under the GST along with flow of transactions was comprehensively dealt with and discussed at the seminar. Secretary J&K Branch of ICAI, CA. Ajay Gupta delivered the inaugural address and while welcoming the guests, emphasized the role of professionals that will be required in the successful implementation of the ACT. CA Ashwani Khajuria, Chairman of J&K Branch of ICAI, also deliberated on the topic and stressed on the ICAI vision with the existing national priority of One Nation-One Tax. CA Sudhir Arora, Vice Chairman of J&K Branch of ICAI, delivered the vote of thanks to all the participants, especially to the guest speaker. |
