Bridge of Seri Chouhana yet to complete | | | Early Times Report
Poonch, Nov 20: Although Jammu and Kashmir government is claiming for good governance, but in real these so-called assertions are only eyewash for the people. According to the sources about fifteen kilometers away from Poonch town, in the village Seri Chouhana a bridge was damaged and due to which the people suffered a lot. The river divided the village in two parts. The so-called good governance cannot reach Seri Chouhana, which situated at the bank of Jammu Poonch highway. People of Seri Chouhana and Seri Khawaja in this regard showed their resentment over carelessness of government and district administration and said they are failed to provide basic necessities to the common masses of society. Abas Malik, Farooq Rather, Mohd Farooq Malik and Riaz Ahmed informed Early Times that the people are crossing from the river which becomes oppressive during rainy season and winter too. They said the students of Higher Secondary class face many problems, resulting which many students get deprived from their examinations. They said albiet the issue was raised in media and in Jalsa on 5th of September held at parade ground Poonch, the matter is yet to complete. They appealed to Deputy Commissioner Poonch Mohammed Harun Malik to intervene in the matter personally and solve these long pending demands of locals. |
