JAMMU, Nov 21: J&K Grameen Bank today distributed issuable currency in public domain at SMGS Hospital, Jammu as per the guidelines of Government of India for exchange of Specified Bank Notes. Chairman, R K Chhibber alongwith General Manager Janak Raj Angural, Chief of I&V Deptt. Jitender Bharadwaj, PRO to Chairman, Ajay Bharti Gupta, Area Manager Jammu Randhir Singh Billawaria, Pct. Sect. to Chairman Mukul Mehta, Br. Head B. O. Shakti Nagar Pawan Kakkar, and Br. Head B.O. Narwal Sahil Sharma were present under the banner of J&K Grameen Bank which has come forward to help the poor masses by exchanging the old currency notes during a campaign organized at SMGS Hospital Jammu. Whereas Superintendent from SMGS Hospital, Dr. Dara Singh, President Medical Employees Association, Dr. Pardeep Sharma and Dr. Ajay Sharma were also present on the occasion. In the move, which is first of its kind, Chairman said that in the present situation of difficulty we are here to address the suffering of the common man especially who is in the circumstances of ailment. Over more than hundred patients facilitated during the campaign and more than Rs.200000 was exchanged on spot. Chairman further added that our Bank shall be arranging such campaigns in the near future also. |
