Medical College principal among 3 held with Rs 2,83,700 | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Nov 21: Gangyal police today claimed to have arrested three Punjab based persons including a principal of Civil Hospital & College, Hoshiarpur and recovered Rs 2,83,700 from their possession which they allegedly had taken from students who appeared for practical examinations at BR Nursing college at Babliana Road. Police spokesman said that today on some specific information, Gangyal police led by inspector Aijaz Wani apprehended three persons namely Saroj Bala wife of Gurdeep Singh, Jaswinder Kour wife of Jagjeet Singh and Gurdeep Singh son of Tarlochan Singh all residents of Adampur, Jallandhar, Punjab and recovered Rs. 2,83,700 from their possession. Spokesman further said that Swift car bearing registration number PB36F-5895 in which they were travelling, has also been seized by the police. Police said that Saroj Bala is working as principal in Civil Hospital& College, Hoshiarpur, Punjab and had come in BR Nursing College near Rajeev Gandhi Leprosy Hospital, Babliana Road for taking practical paper of B.Sc. Nursing. Police said that further investigation of the case is going on. |
