Jammu, Nov 21: A platform for peace will be launched in the name and title of South Asian Forum for Peace (SAFP) shall be launched during the conference on peace being organized by Art of Living on November 23 in presence of Sri Sri Ravishanker.
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar will be addressing this conference as key note speaker in this conference being held on theme to bring back the peace which has eluded the valley for long.
According to official spokesperson Sanjay Kumar, the objective of launching this new platform is to forge together the countries in the South-Asian region, where cooperation, peace and progress have sometimes been evasive. "There are nine countries in the region and the forum will strive to bring them together on various aspects such as peace, growth, entrepreneurship, skill developmental progress, exchange of cultural ambassadors, promote educational partnerships, women's empowerment and etc, Mr Kumar added.
The Forum will be headed by Sanjay Kumar who will be the first Director of the organization who has proven his credentials in bringing peace to areas which have had troubled times in the past. |
