Jammu, Nov 22: To foster and reinforce the spirit of communal harmony and pride in our society, Dulhasti Power Station Kishtwar is celebrating Qaumi Ekta Week from Nov 19 to 25, 2016. As a part of the week long activity, a Kavi Sammelan on Qaumi Ekta was organized on 21/11/2016 in the premise of Power station. On this occasion, Prominent poets like Dr. Tariq Tamkeen, Shri Gulab Saifi, Shri Banshilal, Shri Abdul Salam, Shri Omprakash Goswami, and Dr. Dheeraj Sharma had recited their poems in hindi and Kishtwari language and shared their views on communal harmony. The programme was attended by the officers and employees of the Power Station. Harish Bulchandani, Chief Engineer (C) was the Chief Guest of the programme. In his address Shri Bulchandani said that, diversified country like India needs a robust communal harmony in the society.
We have to respect all religion, caste, creed, languages of the nation. Tolerance is our age old tradition and we must ensure this multi religious co-existence. The programme was concluded with vote of thanks from Shri Satish Parihar, Senior Manager Law. |
