JAMMU, Nov 22: A 29-member strong contingent of Judo, including 14 male and 12 female judokas shall leave for participation in the National Cadet and Junior Judo Championship to be held at Saifi, Itwah in Uttar Pradesh from November 24 to November 28.
The team was given send off by the Secretary J&K State Sports Council, Wahid Ur Rehman Para amidst interaction and good wishes. He also sports kits to the participants. Speaking to the judokas he promised to upgrade the facilities by way of new arena for the game at Indoor Complex.
Prominent among those who were present were Joint Secretary of the Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Kuldeep Singh Jamwal, Abdul Qayum. |
