Early Times Report Jammu, Nov 29: JK Montessorie British School celebrated 66th constitution day by organising debate competition in the premises of the school here today. According to press release, the programme started with special assembly in which students of different classes paid tribute to Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. Students participated with great interest and skills to know more about chairman Dr. B.R Ambedkar and fundamental rights i.e under article 17- Abolition of un touch ability, article21- protection of life and article 26- freedom to manage religious affairs in order to raise light on these fundamental rights. Pertinently, Prime Minister Narendra Modi advised to celebrate this day through organising different competitions including essay writing, Quiz competition, debates etc. The main objective of the event was to sharpen critical thinking and analytical and communicative skills of the students. The best ones of debate competition were honoured by the team of judge. The management lauded the efforts of the students for their brilliant performance. |
