Samba, Nov 29: Residents of Fatwal and other adjoining areas of Ramgarh sector are panic stricken following terror attack close to the border fence and International Border. The terrorists crossed the International Border in Ramgarh sector of Samba district and took shelter in a village close to the border.
According to the people, one month ago several people, including children were killed by Pakistan shelling in Ramgarh sector on the eve of Bahia Dhoj. At that time the district administration shifted the people to different migrant camps.
Then again today the terror attack near the International border in village Fatwal in Ramgarh sector Samba district created ripples disturbing the villagers.
Sarpanch Mohan Singh Bhatti of village Jerda, he said, that Government failed to provide the compensation to the family of Ravinder Kour who was killed in Pak shelling when she was cooking food in the kitchen and suddenly mortar shell fell nearby killing her on the spot.
The state government gave only Rs 10,000 as compensation to the family of Ravinder Kour through Red Cross. He said that during the ceasefire violation we could not harvest our crops. The entire crop is ruined. Now the time has come to teach Pakistan a lesson, he added. |
