katra, Nov 29: To spread the knowledge and awareness amongst the budding school children of rural areas, Senior Citizens Welfare Forum (Regd.) Katra is organizing a symposium on "care for the Parents/Elderly people is a part of our Tradition and Culture, let us care Elders" at Government high school, Charyai in which the students of the Host School and adjoining educational institutions of Muttal, Sandrani, Seen Brahmna etc are participating.
The symposium shall be conducted on 30-11-2016 under the presidentship of Head of the Forum and supported by the members of Senior Citizens Welfare Forum, Katra.
Programme shall be presided by Sh. Krishan Singh Retired Director Finance of J&K Government who is renowned personality of area shared by Chajju Ram Shastri eminent educationist of village charyai.
The judgment of symposium speakers (students) shall be comprised of 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes with Rs 500, 400, 300 respectively with consolation prizes of Rs 200 to participating students, Besides this the participating students shall be facilitated with certificate of Merit and Momentous.
Symposium shall be followed by a lunch and monthly meeting of Senior Citizens Welfare Forum, Katra. |
