Acute shortage water supply and unscheduled electric cuts hits Kishtwar district | | | Early Times Report
Kishtwar Nov 29: As upcoming of winter residents of Kishtwar district are facing acute shortage water and unscheduled eclectic cuts, remote villages of Kishtwar district are facing acute shortage of drinking water and unscheduled eclectic cuts as both the PHE and PDD had neglected on every pattern. Residents of village Palmar,Saroor , Bhalessa, Thathri and Bunjwah informed that all these regions are having dense population and accused departments had failed to ensure regular supply of water and electricity. As the residents of above said areas approached several times to higher officers of PHE and PDD but they didn't take any right step in maintaining proper supply of water and maintaining electricity during night hours. Both PHE and PDD failed in repairing of pipelines and electric wires which are installed several years ago . It is pertinent to mention that PDD is only publishing their customer monthly bills more than 325 rupees in these remote regions where a middle class family is not able to pay their monthly bill. Residents appealed DC Kishtwar to look in these matters and direct the concerned officers in maintaining hassle free water supply and maintaining schedule of electricity during winter. |
