Jammu, Feb 15: JK Convent School celebrated 8th Annual Day-2018 amidst great zest, vibrancy and elation.
Vaid Mahajan Gen Secy PDP was the chief guest and Kamal Gupta President Private School Association was Guest of Honuor, whereas Rameshwar Gupta presided over the function.
The programme commenced with the lighting the ceremonial lamp by the Guest, escorted by the other dignitaries and the Principal.
This entailed the bouquet presentation and pinning of badges. The principal Renuka Verma welcomed the guests and introduced the chief guest to the gathering.
She shared the school's Annual report of the past session. This was followed by the prize distribution ceremony, managed by Megha Sharma, where the chief guest gave away prizes to the academically meritorious pupils of the school. The cultural programme based on the theme UTSAV for the peace and happiness comprised the welcome dance and many colour full dance performances, and special attraction was the Play on old age home appreciated by all the guests. The Play was directed by Ravinder Sharma and Dances were choreographed by Vimal Koul and Sunil.
The chief guest Vaid Mahajan superlative in his appreciation of the students, teachers and management for classic programme presented. He stated that he felt highly honoured and elated to have visited JK Convent School. He lauded the vision and relentless hard work done by students and their mentors for presenting such a massage oriented programme.
