Udhampur, Feb 16: The authorities of health department at Udhampur provide half way ambulance facilities to females seeking sterilization. Concerned citizens said this is totally against rules. An attendant said : "I took my wife for sterilization and sought an ambulance. First they ignored me but later seven patients were accommodated but all of them were left halfway."
He added that Rs 200 per patient were demanded which is against the rules. "The authorities have to provide ambulance free of cost to such patients," he said. |
