Udhampur, Feb 16: Even as the government is under an obligation to open fair price shops in hospitals for the poor and the needy, no alternate facility has been provided in sub-district hospital of Ramnager after the shop was closed down by the High Court for some reasons. The locals , reports said are suffering. According to them patients are referred to District Hospital Udhampur. "At least five patients with heart ailments were referred to Udhampur hospital recently which caused great inconvenience to them," they said.
CMO said the retendering of the fair price shop will be held shortly and the shop will go to the highest bidder. |
