Private Schools Association 'unhappy' over fee fixation | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Mar 4: A meeting of Private schools Association was held in the premises of Shiksha Nikaten School under the chairmanship of Rameshwar Mengi (Vice President J&KPSA). In the meeting all District heads and Executive members of the central body J&K PSA participated. The members present in the meeting expressed their anguish over the unrealistic and hostile attitude of the state government for the fixation of Fee of unaided Private schools, as these Educational institutions are authorized by FFC to enhance fee @ 8% for three years whose base is kept August 2014. Members also condemned the step motherly treatment given by the Director School Education Jammu for granting recognition to number of schools up to class 8th after his retirement by the pick and choose method for the interest best known to the concerned officials although 324 files as per circular number 04-DSEJ of 2018 dt. 09/02/2018 after fulfilling all the conditions and norms are gathering dust in the department. General Secretary of the Association, Ajay Gupta after a threadbare discussion and general consensuses with the associates appealed to all the stake holders not to enhance the tuition fee more than 8 % for the academic session 2018-19 till the Committee for Fee Fixation does not come out with a clear cut policy for the unaided Private Schools. |
