Vijaypur, Mar 4: West Pakistani refuges today organized a monthly meeting at Swankha Morh Vijaypur in district Samba, under the leadership of Labha Ram Gandhi President West Pakistan Refugees Front.
The participants alleged that the state government has turned a deaf ear towards the decision of central government. The Union government had instructed the state government to make identity cards of all the WPR, who came in 1947 but so far nothing has been done and MLAs of BJP very silent on this issue.
Labha Ram Gandhi President Refuuges Front said that a person born in Pakistan could get citizenship in Jammu and Kashmir, then why not the West Pakistani refugees, who have come and live in last seventy years so why the children of west Pakistani refugees not get citizen ship. |
