Jammu, Mar 4: Cradle2Crayons Pre & Primary School, today celebrated its Annual Day .After the customary lighting of lamp by Swami Kumarji Maharaj of Geeta Satsang Bhawan, Muthie Camp, the students presented a colourful pageant of events including the Saraswati Vandana, Jungle Book, the National Song, the inspirational We Shall Overcome and Hawan Kareingey showcasing the spirited entertainment by the "faujis" in their leisure time at the remote borders.
The function was attended by the parents and grandparents of the kids, the community members in the neighbourhood and other dignitaries including Brigadier B L Raina and IGP Yoginder Kaul and others. The principal Anila Tikoo presented the report card while Swamiji spoke on the teachings of Bhagwat Geeta relating to the eternal Master, Lord Shri Krishna.
The parents participated in a few games of polo and poem recitation and the prizes were distributed to the winners. After the prize distribution there was a scintillating Grand Finale on the tune of Hum Hain India Waley. The annual day at Cradle2Crayons was full of falicitations, festivities and fun.
