Ways to curb unemployment
Sunaina Malik3/14/2018 8:52:12 PM
Amid innumerable worries of common man of India, unemployment is most dreadful of all. Today major section of Indian society is fighting with demon of unemployment. As per official data available nearly 77% of Indian families have no regular wage. Today our India possess 58% unemployed graduates and 62% unemployed post graduates. In addition to this as per report of union ministry for labour and employment, National employment hovers around 3.7% in 2015-16.
Unemployment is the major cause of all types of unrest in any society. I may not be wrong to label unemployment as the major cause of militancy in Kashmir valley because non availability of proper placement at proper time lures our educated youth towards wrong ways in life.
It is very tough for me to comprehend that even in spite of knowing the rooten condition of employment in India, our Govt. is acting as a silent spectator. After every five years new Govt. Comes with an eye wash of curbing unemployment but soon its real image gets clear before us. After getting totally hopeless from our so called great policy makers, I have come up with some most practical formulas of eradication of unemployment from India.
(1) Fixed property law
Fixed property law is the only way to curb unemployment because under this law every Indian would be entitled to posses a fixed amount of money or property. Such type of revolutionary step will totally eradicate the chances of bribe taking, corruption and scams. Thus Govt would be left with ample quantity of money to generate as much job opportunities as required.
(2) No pay commissions
Govt. Should totally stop implementing pay commission over employees because it is no prudence to increase pay of employees from 80000 to 1ooooo. In spite of it Govt can easily save this money for generating new jobs. Let us first fill empty glasses than overfilling already filled glasses.
(3) Glorification of every profession
By glorifying fews professions like doctor, engineer and KAS we have confined the thinking atmosphere of our youth and curtailed the varied opportunities of work in areas like agriculture, small hand skill industries, labour work and other private sector. Let us glorify every profession because every work is equal and honorable. This will lessen the burden of employment on Govt. Sector
(4) skill education
Skill education can reduce the burden of unemployment to a greater extend. Skill education should be introduce as a main part of our today's education. A skilled educated youth would be easily absorbed in private sector thus can save himself from frustration of earning.
(5) Fixed population law
Limited resources can never fulfill the demands of continuously increasing consumers. Similar is the case here India has limited natural resources but her population is increasing limitlessely. Mere counselling can never inspire we Indians to control population so for this reason Govt. must implement a strong population control law. Lower would be population higher will be prosperty.
(6)Reduction in retirement age
Reduction in retirement can make vacancies for new and fresh mind to come into action as soon as possiblý.
(6) Members of families with private business must not be given Govt. Jobs
(7) There should be a heavy reduction in the amount of salaries given to first class employees and politicians. Wages must be equal to work done. I am apologetic to say but the wages taken by a lectureres or a professors are in no case equal to amount of work put in by them. Similar is the case with other departments also. Money so saved can be utilized for giving jobs to more needy and aspiring people. To your revelations, one can live an easy and comfortable life in 30000 salary per month. So there is no need to overflow bank balances of some one and to leave others to starve.
(8) Last but not the least unemployment can be cured largely by concentrating at the production side. The more do we produce the more we will export and will flood our market with ample quantity of money. Availability of economy in market can give rise to work opportunity to infinity.
In the conclusion ,i want to say that today we have reached in an alarming situation of joblessness. This situation is becoming the cause of frustration and depression amid youth because of it our most educated and talented youth is either leaving our country for proper placement in abroad markets or embracing death when they fail to get job in our country. Let us perish this atmosphere of unemployment by adopting the above mentioned suggestions as soon as possible.
