Bharderwah, Mar 14: Bhaderwah Campus, University of Jammu Organized placement drive for the students of Bhaderwah campus and Bhaderwah town. Prof. G M Bhat, Rector, Bhaderwah Campus congratulated the Placement Team of the campus for taking this initiative and extended his wholehearted support to the event. At the onset Sunil Bhardwaj, placement coordinator welcomed all the guests and students to the one day placement drive being conducted in the campus. He stressed upon the need of creating more and more job opportunities in the state particularly for the students of geographically remote areas to address the problem of unemployment in the country. Akeel Ahmed, Project Coordinator, Roman Technology Ltd. gave a detailed presentation about the organization and project UDAAN being run by NSDC in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In a very lucid way he explained to the students that, how Roman Technologies Ltd. have successfully placed more than 3000 students from the state of Jammu and Kashmir in different Multinational Corporations like Microsoft, IBM, Wipro, Axis Bank, TCS etc. More than 150 students from different departments of the campus and the Bhaderwah town participated in the placement drive. Students very enthusiastically interacted during the drive and raised many questions related to project UDAAN, Akeel Ahmed, Project Coordinator answered all the queries of the students. On spot interviews of the students were conducted for the placements. |
