| KC College of Education organizes extension lecture | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 14: In continuation of weeklong NSS camp, an extension lecture was held in K.C. College of Education today Prof. R.P. Sharma formerly from Deptt. Of Geography, University of Jammu was a resource person on this occasion. The programme started with lighting of traditional lamp which symbolizes a transition of light from darkness and is considered as a good omen before the commencement of an educational endeavour. The welcome address was presented by Dr. Sanjay Tickoo, Principal of the college and the bouquet was presented as a mark of respect to the visiting guest. Principal of the college gave a brief introduction of Prof. R.P. Sharma and lauded his contribution in the field of education, further he asserted that Prof. Sharma's expertise would definitely prove fruitful in providing a right direction for the teachers as well as students. Prof. Sharma delivered his lecture on the topic 'Climatic Condition of India'. Sharing his experience in the audience. The programme was convened by senior faculty member and Programme coordinator NSS Priya Gupta. The programme concluded with presenting of vote of thanks by senior faculty member Puja Sharma who extended her gratitude towards the visiting guest, on behalf of college for sparing his valuable time for the extension lecture. |
