Samba, Mar 14: Vijaypur police arrested one narcotic drug peddler and recovered 3.5 kilogram of poppy straw recovered from his Possession here today
According to the Police sources, a team of Vijaypur Police station headed by Inspector Suraj Pathania, SHO Vijaypur police station along with District special branch laid a Nakka on Jammu Pathankot National Highway near Vijaypur chowk and intercepted a truck bearing registration No JK02AD-1485 and recovered 3.5 kilogram of poppy straw. Police arrested the driver of the truck on spot and seized the truck. The Drug peddler has identified as Dalminder Singh Son of Puran Singh resident of Abtal Ramgarh. In this connection a case FIR No 37/2018 U/S 8/15, NDPS Act registered at Police station Vijaypur. |
