| Father, son duo to represent J&K in National Level Shooting Championship | | |  Early Times Report
Kishtwar, Mar 18: After striking gold in 31st North Zone Shot Gun Double Trap shooting Championship held in New Delhi in the year 2011, Sheraz Aalam along with his son Ahmed Aalam will represent the state of Jammu and Kashmir at prestigious National Level Championship to be held at Khaderpur, Gurugram.
The decision to send the father, son duo to represent the state was taken by the Jammu and Kashmir Rifle Association to send its best and excellent chosen sportsmen to "National Rifle Big Bore Shooting Championship to be held at CRPF Shooting Ground from 26th of this month. An international acclaimed shooting players who had participated in several national and international events, Shiraz Aalam is the native of Muradabad Utter Pradesh and has deep connection with J&K state as he is married to younger sister of former MLA Doda Abdul Majid Wani and NC leader Mohammad Iqbal Wani and has deep love for the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
