| NMC seeks implementation of 7th pay commission report | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 18: National Mazdoor Conference (NMC) has appealed the state Finance Minister Syed Altaf Bukhari to expedite the issuance of SRO/notification regarding implementation of the 7th pay commission report in respect of State Govt. employees and pensioners.
"The process of fixation of pay/pension will be time consuming and its become necessary to issue such notification in view of closure of financial year 2017-18", Subash Shastri said, and expressed concern over the delay in issuing of SRO/Notification regarding 7th pay commission.
He said that the same is creating confusion in the minds of salaried class and pensioners also adding that the issuance of notification needs to be expedited to put to rest any misgivings on the issue.
Shastri hoped that a decision regarding the same will be taken by the state Cabinet in its proposed meeting this week. |
