| DYSS organises Inter-zone district level competition | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 21: Inter Zone District Level Competition for Volley Ball and Kho-Kho U-17 organised under RAMSA is in progress at GHSS Domana. The competitions are being organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports District Jammu under RAMSA.
250 boys drawn from different zones of District took part in the competitions.
Earlier the competitions were declared open by Chanchal Kour DYSSO and Rajeev Gupta ASP Rural Jammu and Dr. Karan Singh in a simple and well attended function while addressing the participants she said, that sports plays an important role in shaping the personality of students she further said that sports is integral part of education without sports education is incomplete later on she wished the participants best of luck during the competition.
Later on the trophies and medals were distributed and runners up term of volley ball and kho kho teams.
Kho Kho: RS Pura Zone beats Marh Zone by 11-9 points.
Volley Ball: Jourain Zone beats Akhnoor Zone by 2-0 set. |
