Jammu, Mar 21: Influential constable has been evading his relieving orders despite the fact that he was transferred from a police post in Jammu district around eight months ago.
If sources are to be believed, a constable who was transferred from a police post around eight months ago is mounting pressure on seniors not to relieve him.
Sources further said that the constable is part of the nexus involved in anti-social activities and has established friendly relations with staff of ministers and businessmen of the locality where he is posted.
"Said constable enjoys influence within the department owing to his congenial relations which he developed with businessmen and other staff members of the cabinet ministers through his wrong doings", said a source.
"A constable has been hoodwinking the department by evading his relieving for months, which speaks of the state of affairs within police administration", said a police officer pleading anonymity adding that the transfer orders are only for those who have no god fathers in the department. |
