| Hunger strike of 10+2 lecturers enter 400th day | | |  Early Times Report
Jammu, Mar 21: The hunger strike by contractual lecturers (10+2) entered 400th today which is a very longer period and the Contractual Lecturers has been facing so many hardships. The Contractual Lecturers have been demanding their regularization as per the Civil services Special Provision act 2010 a Legislature passed for the Regularization of all the ad-hoc/ Contractual/ Consolidated employees. Contractual lecturers protested raising slogans like Laayen Gey Layen Gaye Hum Kranti Layen Gaye, Hamara Shoshan Karna Bandh Karo Bandh Karo, Contractual Lecturers Ko Regularise Karo Regularise Karo etc. They protested against the government for not conceding their demands.
While addressing the media person Arun Bakhshi President of the Association said that Government has just given blank assurance which are if no use but more Exploitation of 10+2 Contractual Lecturers. We will not tolerate any cruelty by the Government on the part of Contractual Lecturers. Bakhshi also said that now the Govt portfolio of Finance department is also kept with the Education Minister Altaf Bukhari and it is not very difficult for the Minister to get this job done. |
