YCET organises Tech Fest EKATRA-18

Jammu, Mar 21: Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) and Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), being run under the aegis of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI) jointly organized Business Tech Fest 'EKATRA-18'in the college campus at Gurha Brahmana (Patoli), Jammu, the inauguration of which took place on of March 20, 2018.
The Fest was witness to an array of events like Technical and Management events, fun events, cultural events with the participation of students from other institutions. During the Fest alumni meet was also organized which was attended by ex- students of IMS and YCET, who are holding key positions in major corporate and industrial houses.
Prof. Rajnikant, Director, College Development Council, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest for the inaugural function. Er. Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, Jamwal Group welcomed Prof. Rajnikant and thanked him for gracing the occasion. She also highlighted the achievements of various institutions being run by the Jamwal Group and further said that the Business Tech Fest is a vibrant platform where students showcase their skills and talent which are important for refreshment and rejuvenation of the students and faculty.
The students also presented colorful thematic and stage performances. Prof. Rajnikant, while speaking on the occasion, appreciated the efforts of the institutions for organizing such an event for the benefit of the students under the able guidance of Er. Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman of Jamwal Group. Thakur Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, Jamwal Group was also present during the Business Tech Fest. The vote of thanks for the inaugural function was presented by Dr. Arvind Dewangan, Director, YCET.
Prof. Keshav Sharma, Dean Academics, University of Jammu was the Chief Guest for the valedictory function. Prof. J.R. Dhotra welcomed the Chief Guest and thanked him for sparing his valuable time to grace the event. Prof. Keshav Sharma complemented the Management, staff and the students for the fantastic arrangements made for the Business Tech fest. He said that such events help the students to grow socially, culturally and professionally. Attraction of the fest was various stalls and eating points organized by the students in the campus.
