Jammu, Mar 30: National Secular Forum (NSF) has demanded complete audit of the functioning and performance of Jammu University (JU) for the last three days.
Addressing a press conference, NSF state president Dr Vikas Sharma alleged that Vice Chancellor has resorted to epotism and favoritism on large scale and even awarded PhD degrees without course work.
"The Vice Chancellor flouted all norms to promote blue-eyed employees and left no stone unturned to extend undue benefits to selected ones," he added.
"If govt can order probe into the illegal appointment in Kashmir University then why can not the same be done with respect to Jammu University," he questioned and emphasized for simultaneous audit and probe.
Among those who were present in the press-conference included, Papinder Singh, Manmohan Singh, Manik Sanson, Istaq Naik, and Pawan Pathak. |
