| Couple allegedly commits suicide | | |

Jammu, Mar 30: An old couple allegedly committed suicide by consuming some poisonous stuff at their rented accommodation at Janipur.
The deceased have been identified as Shashi Lal (56) son of Lt Mool Raj and his wife Kiran Khanna (54) presently residing in a rented accommodation at Janipur.
Police sources said that last night after having dinner the couple went for sleep and today in the morning they were found dead.
Police said that after getting the information they reached the spot and shifted both the bodies to the mortuary of the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMC&H). After post-mortem both the bodies have been handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
During preliminary questioning it came to light that the family had suffered huge losses owing to which they sold out their property and started living in a rented house, said police sources. |
