VIJAYPUR, Mar 30: Arvind Ghosh Higher Secondary School Vijaypur celebrated its 24th annual day here today at school premises.
The Industries and Commerce Minister, Chander Parkash Ganga was chief guest on this occasion while S Manjeet Singh, ex-Minister, ID Soni, State Commissioner J&K Scouts and Guides, Chief Education Oofficer Samba Ram Pal, Tinu Gupta Director Citizen Co-operative Bank and ACR Samba Wasim Raja were guests of honour.
The annual day programme started with a welcome song while the chairperson of the school Gurdeep Singh read the annual report of the school.
The students presented beautiful cultural items and patriotic group songs. The rare achievers of the school, position holders and meritorious students were given trophies and mementos by the chief guest.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Chander Parkash Ganga asked the parents to show more concern towards their wards because it has a great bearing on the future development of the child. |
